At RBA, the Information Technology Department supports the Bank's policy, operational and corporate objectives by providing strategic IT direction and also ensures industry-leading resilience in internal applications and critical systems that support payments, banking and financial markets. Currently, the IT Department is seeking an enthusiastic, articulate and reliable Senior BI Developer to assist with the support and implementation of the Bank’s BI technology solutions.

About the Role:

  • Implementation of the Bank's BI technology solutions to ensure that these meet the business requirements and are aligned with the enterprise architecture and standards.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify their current and potential requirements.
  • Provide advice and BI solutions to support the Bank's business and enterprise architecture
  • Analyse, design, develop, test and document technology solutions using agreed enterprise standards
  • Support production systems by problem resolution and system enhancement
  • Contribute to the selection of system architecture components.
  • Evaluate and undertake impact analysis on major design options and assess associated risks
  • Undertake relevant research including the evaluation of new software, tools and techniques ensuring fit to the Bank's enterprise architecture and standards.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working in a similar role and advanced knowledge of development practices and design patterns for IBM InfoSphere, including DataStage, IGC, Quality Stage and Information Analyzer. You will enjoy building new capability and have strong working knowledge of Microsoft BI technologies including SQL Server technologies, SSRS, SSIS and SSAS. Additionally you will have extensive experience in managing issues, data migration and in in preparing and coordinating change release management, software upgrades and patches.

Employment will be offered under a fixed term employment arrangement running for a period of 24 months.
