IT Asset Management Analyst

At RBA, the Information Technology Department supports the Bank's policy, operational and corporate objectives by providing strategic IT direction and also ensures industry-leading resilience in internal applications and critical systems that support payments, banking and financial markets. Currently, the IT Department is seeking an enthusiastic, articulate and reliable IT Asset Management Analyst to contribute to the ongoing development and governance of Asset Management and deliver continual improvements in line with Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles.

About the Role:

  • Take accountability and ensure that all teams working with asset changes are accurately updating asset information to the asset register.
  • Proactively contribute to the ITAM process improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the quality of IT Asset data.
  • Produce asset management reports and process maturity metrics.
  • Manage the entire asset process lifecycle: acquisition, deploy, support, maintain and retire.

To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working in a similar role as well as ITIL v3 and ITAM Foundation Certification. You will have strong working knowledge of hardware and software asset management based on ITAM best practice as well as experience of maintaining data records in an asset registers. Additionally you will have experience Maintaining and using IT Knowledge Bases in a corporate IT environment.

Employment will be offered under a fixed term employment arrangement running for a period of 6 months.
