Delivery Manager

The Reserve Bank of Australia pursues national economic policy objectives and undertakes a range of associated activities in financial markets and banking. It also issues Australia's banknotes and operates infrastructure critical to the payments system. Those who are involved in the activities of the Bank have an important role to play in achieving these objectives, whether directly or in a supporting role.

We are currently looking for a Delivery Manager to join our IT team and lead the integrated management and delivery of a group of related projects. In this role supporting ROBAS, you will manage the relationships between the business and technical stakeholders during the implementation of business change and throughout the Project lifecycle to ensure business satisfaction.

This role will also see you manage the team resources to ensure that they are properly utilised and are able to reach their potential while leading the business engagement process for new initiatives.

What are we looking for?

  • An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
  • A Project Management Certification and extensive knowledge of Agile project management methodologies and practices
  • An understanding of banking and payment systems, services and operations.
  • The ability to articulate technology benefit in terms of business functions.
  • Knowledge of a Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Experience in managing a team of IT Professionals to deliver business change on time and budget.
