Be part of an energetic and fast moving team that delivers enormous business value to our clients. Within the scope of the RBA’s Renovation of Banking Applications and Systems (ROBAS) program, you'll be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of applications and systems.

As the Business Analyst you will:

  • Assist with the development of business requirements for ROBAS using the defined project methodology that takes into consideration current and future customer requirements.
  • Liaise with other sections within Banking Department (BK) and other departments to ensure that the proposed developments meet business and other department requirements.
  • Liaise with Technical staff to ensure that requirements are technologically viable and appropriate for BK customers.
  • Ensure that appropriate documentation and sign-off is achieved in line with project guidelines.
  • Undertake testing of new and enhanced systems and produce associated test plans and scripts as required.
  • Assist in preparation of operational procedures and staff training materials for new and enhanced systems in consultation with relevant Banking Department sections.
  • Provide assistance to respective owners of communication plan, customer migration plan, implementation and change management plan in creation of these documents.
  • Assist in resolving post implementation problems during the warranty period.
  • Provide suggestions on improving the processes within the Business Analysis area and foster greater collaboration with other project and business staff.
  • Assist the project team in its objective of improving maturity of Agile processes, practices and tools by being at the forefront of Agile adoption.

To be successful in this role, you will have an understanding of the business analysis domain and knowledge of tools, methods and communication techniques to extract, develop, validate and document business requirements. Some experience working in a project team as part of a business or technical project is essential. A degree qualification in finance, IT, business or another relevant discipline is desirable.
