Senior Projects Coordinator/Manager

We are currently looking for a Senior Projects Coordinator/Manager to assist with the day-to-day coordination and administration of large building, infrastructure, and venue upgrade projects. This role will encompass   project feasibility, initiation, briefing, professional services provider and contract management and project administration including regular project reporting, cost management and meetings.

The Reserve Bank of Australia’s Workplace Department is responsible for the sustainable and effective management of the Bank’s physical assets and the provision of services that together ensure operational availability, security, safety and effectiveness of the workplace.

As part of the team you will:

  • Assist with the management of large building, infrastructure, venue upgrade and workspace fitout projects to ensure completion on time, within budget, to quality and within scope.
  • Coordinate all project technical related requirements including accommodation, engineering services, IT components, security, space planning and furniture.
  • Analyse project requirements, develop performance briefs, Project Initiation Documents, and coordinate feasibility studies and business cases.
  • Prepare monthly EPMO project status reports and other 'ad hoc' submissions on project matters, Steering Committee packs, meeting minutes and administer project records.

Skills and Experience:

  • A working knowledge of building, technical matters and an understanding of design, including safety in design
  • Project management and delivery of construction works.
  • Construction fitout experience, including contract management and administration.
  • Graduate qualifications relevant to building and construction, architecture, engineering or project management.
  • An ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
