IT Analyst

We are currently looking for someone with strong data analytical skills with acute attention to detail, experience in advanced Excel and VBA along with good understanding of the project life cycle. This IT Analyst in Strategy,Architecture and Governance plays an integral role in supporting the operations of the IT Portfolio Management office including IT executive portfolio reporting, management and administration support for the IT project portfolio. You will also:    

  • Support operational reporting, and associated insight development, relating to the IT project portfolio and initiatives.
  • Provide efficient administrative support to IT portfolio, including analysis, and reporting of key project portfolio dependencies, potential contentions and risks, and key milestones and schedules, contributing to overall quality control.
  • Support the IT Portfolio Management lead by proactively seeking opportunities to streamline and automate manual IT PMO processes.

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant university degree.
  • Advanced Excel and VBA with developed pivot table experience.
  • Excellent critical thinking and data analytical skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to use and automate through data analytical tools e.g. Power BI.
  • Excellent administrative skills with developed minute/report writing skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Developed understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies.
  • Experience in working in a portfolio/project office will be an advantage.
  • Professional certification of a widely used Project/Portfolio management discipline such as Prince2 or P3O.
