The Bank is currently embarking on a transformation process to uplift it policies and process, provide more strategically oriented HR services and improve business engagement. This exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HR leader who thrives on change.

Reporting to the Head of HR, the position is responsible for developing and implementing HR's approach to business engagement and communication, and provides leadership to the HR Business Engagement team.

More specifically, in this role you will:

  • Establish and maintain a clear framework for how HR engages with leaders. Promote close collaboration between the HR Business Engagement team and the HR Centres of Expertise.
  • Work with leaders, Centres of Expertise and the HR Business Engagement team to develop and implement strategic HR solutions in line with the corporate plan and HR strategy.
  • Lead the HR Business Engagement team to provide support, interpretation and counsel to leaders regarding HR policies, programs and practices in line with long-term HR strategies as well recommending improvements to meet changing needs.
  • Work with HR and leaders to develop and implement an HR communications plan in line with the HR strategy for the dissemination of HR news, announcements, events and other communications consistently and effectively.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will bring both strategic HR and business expertise and a strong knowledge of best practices in HR. You will also have exceptional stakeholder management skills and a successful track record of team leadership.

You will also possess:

  • Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Experience working in a HR generalist role
  • Experience in the development of strategic plans
  • Change management experience
