Project Manager - Data Centre

In this role you'll lead and deliver the Bank's data centre upgrade project, where you'll establish key technology relationships and deliver new technology capability. The project is in the early development stage of its lifecycle and requires someone with prior experience project managing data centre upgrades or similar.


As part of the team you will:

  • Manage approved projects, including the project proposal/brief, project plan, project timetable, project resource plan, project budget, project risk assessment and procurement method/s, as required by the Enterprise and IT Portfolio Management Offices
  • Chair, participate in and document meetings with the Project Teams, internal stakeholders, industry bodies, vendors, other external service providers and others, as required.
  • Document, monitor and report on project issues, risks and action items, including people responsible and due dates.
  • Provide administrative and other support services as required for key stakeholders, including senior management and the Steering Committees, and relevant minute taking.
  • Gather information from the business stakeholders to understand their current and potential requirements. Match IT service
  • capabilities with business stakeholder expectations and use feedback to assess and promote understanding of need for future changes in services and systems.


The successful applicant will have the following skills and capability:

  • Demonstrated infrastructure Project Manager experience in the Financial Services industry.
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience in Data Centre mirgration and capability uplifts
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A relevant degree qualification and Project Management Certification in Prince II
  • 3-5 years project management experience
