IT Infrastructure Project Manager – contract until end of June 2020

We are currently looking for someone with demonstrated experience in managing Large Infrastructure Projects within IT in the Financial Services industry and government departments. In this role you’ll develop robust and achievable program and project plans to manage the delivery of technology refurbishment of the entire building in our Head Office including all networks, cabling, end user services etc. You’ll be in charge of building solid relationships with vendors and third party suppliers while partnering with internal stakeholders to achieve Bank’s strategic objectives.  

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in managing physical works such as site moves and changes, office relocations and refurbishments
  • Demonstrated ability to develop key strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Project Management Certification in PRINCE II is a must to have
  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management Methodologies and frameworks
  • Sound Financial Control and reporting skills, experience in building Business Cases
  • Knowledge of a Solution Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience in Application Development and Infrastructure build
  • Strong technical knowledge of the following technologies: Servers and Storage, Cabling, Switching and Routing, Wireless and Firewalls
  • Ability to negotiate successfully with suppliers and other third parties
