On-Boarding Coordinator

On-Boarding Coordinator to support our Contracts and on-Boarding team in our Shared Services function.  This is a fast paced and varied role where you will oversee on-boarding of new employees and contingent workforce including conducting background checks, processing paperwork and conducting the new hire orientation process.

You will provide support to the Talent Acquisition team for graduate and internship campaigns, including administering aptitude tests in accordance with established procedures, co-ordinating interviews and booking travel when required.

The Reserve Bank of Australia’s Finance Department prepares the Reserve Bank's financial and management accounts and handles various shared staff services such as payroll and travel.

As part of the team you will:

  • Oversee on-boarding of new employees and contingent workforce from offer acceptance to commencement.
  • Provide accurate information and timely information to ensure new hires are set up in the HR management system.
  • Review procedures to ensure they are current and recommend improvements in efficiency
  • Maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to a high level and provide a high level of customer service and focus.
  • Act as a point of contact  and representative for all new staff, action requests  in order to prioritise any urgent matter

Skills and Experience:

  • Must have high attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple and often conflicting tasks
  • An understanding and experience working with HR systems
  • Advanced in all MS Office tools, in particular Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to work effectively as part of the team and complete daily activities.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
