Workplace Category and Partnerships Lead, Procurement

The role of the Workplace Category and Partnerships Lead is to partner with our Workplace Department which delivers corporate property and physical security services; providing end to end procurement support and best practice advice in accordance with RBA’s policies and guidelines. Your excellent customer service skills will come into play as you provide support in the delivery of procurement activities in partnership with the business.

As part of the team you will:

  • Provide support and assistance across the Bank for execution of procurements in accordance with the Bank's Procurement Policy and Guidelines.
  • Support the management of strategic suppliers in partnership with Workplace.
  • Maintain a contract register and be able to identify areas for improvement for the Workplace Department (i.e. opportunities for contract consolidation).
  • Analyse Bank-wide expenditure and identify cost savings opportunities for implementation.
  • Assist with the approach to market initiatives from creation of market documentation, coordination of panel meetings, contract negotiation and contract close-out.
  • Contribute to improvement opportunities such as spend analysis, reporting and process improvements within the Procurement team.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and capability:

  • Degree qualifications relevant to the Bank (ideally with an emphasis on management), procurement or contracts
  • Procurement or contracts certification
