Senior Technical Business Analyst

The Senior Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing system functionality, defining requirements, and contributing to the design of the system which analyses and forecasts liquidity in the Australian financial system.

You will actively participate in project Agile delivery ceremonies and be accountable for defining functional requirements through stakeholder engagement and analysis of SQL transformations that occur within the legacy solution. You will work closely with the product owner, project manager, development team and test team to ensure alignment of business and technical requirements.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and capability:

  • Demonstrated understanding of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and define requirements with measurable acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to interrogate SQL queries and translate to technical requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering outcomes in a fast paced Agile environment.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel, Visio and SQL knowledge.
  • Clear understanding of BABOK framework.
