Do work that makes a difference

This is a newly created position reporting to the Head of Enterprise Data Office (EDO), it will see you leading the Bank’s Accelerated Data Consolidation Program. The program involves multiple concurrent projects that migrate datasets from spreadsheets and legacy systems and refactor and consolidate them on the Bank’s strategic data platforms.

In this role you will ensure that the new data solutions meet business requirements and that the program's timelines, resources, costs, and interdependencies with external stakeholders are managed appropriately. You will also:

  • Ensure successful migration of datasets from legacy systems and their consolidation on strategic platforms
  • Establish and maintain effective internal and external stakeholder management processes and activities
  • Develop and maintain appropriate strategies for replacement of existing systems and business processes
  • Ensure Program is appropriately supported and visible to all levels of senior and executive management

Your team

This role has 5 direct reports and you will lead a wider cross-departmental team of around 25 people within the Accelerated Data Consolidation Program. 

Your background

We are looking for a strong Program Manager with proven experience managing large enterprise-level data migration programs along with advanced understanding of data warehousing and data management, ideally in financial services.    

To be successful in this critical role you will possess:

  • Advanced knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies and concepts
  • Significant experience working in leadership positions in both Business and IT domains
  • Experience in effectively engaging internal (senior management) and external stakeholders, including vendors and industry partners
