The HR Transformation Project involves bringing the RBA’s HR related business processes up to industry best-practice, supported by a modernisation of our HR technology. This is an opportunity to make a real positive difference to how the RBA operates. The project provides the opportunity to use your deep knowledge of HR business processes and human centred design to help to select the professional services firm and HCM solution that is most appropriate for the Bank, and work with these organisations and internal Bank staff to modernise the RBA’s HR related business processes. In this role you will interact regularly with staff across HR and Shared Services and Bank senior management. You will also have the opportunity to work with a high quality external professional services firm and a HCM solution provider as well as the internal RBA project team to deliver the HR Transformation project. Reporting to the Project Director, you will manage all aspects of project delivery and work effectively with the project team to enable success. This first phase of the project will include the following:

  • Use deep knowledge of HR business processes and human centred design to help to select the professional services firm and HCM solution that is most appropriate for the Bank.
  • Use deep knowledge of HR business processes and human centred design to work closely with the external professional services firm and internal Bank staff (project staff and HR/Shared Services staff) to modernise the Bank's HR related business processes to develop them to industry best practice standard.
  • Ensure the redesign of HR related business processes and the broader project methodology incorporates the principles and methods of human-centred design. This includes artefacts such as personas, journey maps, and prototyping.
  • Engage with users as an integral part of the redesign of HR related business processes. They should be involved in identifying the problems to be solved, defining needs, prototyping solutions, and consulted on the design of the end solution.
  • Work closely with the Project Director and the IT Project Manager to manage the HR Transformation Project and ensure that it successfully delivers the required business outcomes on time and on budget, and to a high quality.

Your background

To be successful in this critical role you will possess:

  • Deep knowledge of best practice in HR related business processes
