Senior Test Analyst - Contract until February 2022

This is a hands-on role responsible for testing within a cross-functional, mature Agile team as part of a project to upgrade the Findur application (treasury management system) and its underlying infrastructure. The role requires taking an active part in all test related activities including test automation, providing testing support and maintaining and improving test processes, tooling and outputs, whilst working in a scrum team.

Your background

  • Degree in IT/business/finance or other relevant discipline as well as certification in Agile/Scrum/ISTQB are highly desirable.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience across all phases of testing in an Agile environment & previous working experience as a Senior Test Analyst in a large scale IT project.
  • Prior working experience in trading/treasury systems with experience specifically in Openlink - Findur system is highly desirable.
  • Thorough knowledge and prior experience in designing and implementing Automation frameworks especially with vendor products.
  • Experience in test execution, the review of business and non-functional requirements, preparation of test plans, test cases and test summary reports.
  • Working knowledge of testing tools such as JIRA/Zephyr, HP ALM and exposure to a variety of databases, programming languages and operating systems, especially SQL/Oracle, Java, Linux and Windows.
  • Good understanding and exposure to BDD (Behavioural Driven Development) and CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Delivery) concepts.
  • Exposure to Web services (API) testing and non-functional testing (e.g. Performance testing, Failover testing etc.).
  • Ability to articulate/produce test strategies and test frameworks applicable to the project's requirements.
  • Strong technical documentation/interpretation skills and proven ability to be analytical and work creatively to solve problems along with strong communication, documentation and report writing skills.
