We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Project Management Specialist to deliver a group of related projects and changes towards the refresh of mission critical Payments Infrastructure. You will assist/report to the Project/Program manager, within a defined operating structure, and take responsibility for effectively implementing changes and contribute to project benefits being realised. You will also:  

  • Manage, plan and direct all aspects of work for a project to ensure it delivers outcomes necessary to realise benefits as agreed by the project sponsor under the direction of a project/program manager.
  • Apply a structured project management approach and methodology, ensuring adherence to internal frameworks, processes and practices to effectively manage all aspects of the project.
  • Develop and maintain detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and resource plans.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues, develop plans to mitigate risk and implement these in a timely manner, measuring effectiveness.

Your background

We are looking for an IT Project Management Specialist with demonstrated IT Infrastructure project management experience within IT Infrastructure technology domains in the financial services industry along with project management certification, preferably PRINCE II. Some experience with application related integration and/or projects will be beneficial.
