Senior Systems Administrator

A Senior System Administrator opportunity is available to join our collaborative IT Infrastructure team for an 18-20 month fixed term position, until June 2023. You will have a high work ethic as a Senior Infrastructure System Administrator with solid skills in VMware, Linux, Azure Cloud, Automation, as well as being an excellent communicator and strong problem solver.

As part of the team you will:

  • Lead on new infrastructure technical solution architecture, design and implementation for Server, Storage and Active Directory working closely with Security and other infrastructure teams.
  • Skills in VMware, Automation, Orchestration and Azure Cloud, Bash or Powershell
  • Adaptable to do manual builds and maintenance of automation and orchestration
  • Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Strong knowledge of virtualisation technologies (VMware) is desirable
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server operating system
  • Experience or understanding of Cisco UCS hardware is highly desirable
  • Solid experience in the build and security hardening of server operating systems
  • Excellent communication skills and customer centric delivery
