Systems Analyst (Business Applications Administration)

As a Systems Analyst you will provide business and technical administration, systems analysis and support across Core IT, Business Systems Applications. Your focus will be on business and technical administration, analysis and troubleshooting for COTS (Commercially Off The Shelf) applications whilst coordinating and tracking maintenance, faults and testing. You will work with vendors, other technical teams and business customers, providing excellent customer service to troubleshoot with quality outcomes.   

Your team

You will be part of the Corporate Services Group, Information Technology division, responsible for the overall services, support and delivery of the Bank’s policy, operational and corporate objectives. Your IT team, the Policy Systems team is responsible for transforming and developing the core IT functions that support the Reserve Bank's policy, operational and corporate objectives.

Your background

To be successful in this role you will possess;

  • Configure, unit test, administer and maintain the COTS software and related managed applications.
  • Analyse, recommend, implement and manage changes and updates to the COTS software, including major upgrades, patches and minor version updates, customisations and configurations.
  • Ensure currency of all technical components of the system portfolio including security patching. 
  • Plan and coordinate system upgrades and implementation of new versions of software and applications.
  • Conduct and coordinate software and system upgrades liaising with vendors and internal IT teams
  • Support Production systems and the Bank’s users via troubleshooting and technical problem resolution.
  • Actively participate in the management of all stakeholders, delivery partners and customers to ensure that high quality customer service is delivered.
  • Collect, analyse and collate usage statistics, service delivery metrics to present, providing management advice on user and systems trend analysis of incidents and Requests.
