We have an opportunity for a Test Lead to work on a highly visible HR technology transformation Project. The HR Transformation Project involves bringing the RBA’s HR business processes and associated technology systems up to industry best-practice. The project will be contributing towards making a real positive difference to how the RBA operates. The project provides the opportunity to work with a high quality external professional services firm and a HCM solution provider as well as the internal RBA project team to deliver the HR Transformation project.

This role is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end testing function for the HR Transformation Project (which involves the implementation of a new SaaS HCM system and associated HR business process changes). This role oversees both the business functionality testing and the technology testing. Needs to ensure that new and amended business processes, workflows, notifications, access, configurations, packages, migrations, or services, together with any interfaces, perform as specified, and that the risks associated with deployment are adequately identified, documented, mitigated and accepted.

The HR Transformation project team is a supportive, engaged and collaborative team working towards implementing a best in class standard in HR practice. This position reports into the Project Director.

Your background

To be successful in this critical role you will possess;

  • Demonstrated practical experience and knowledge in HR business processes and HCM systems in similar industries
  • Knowledge of project management, test and change management disciplines.
  • Experience in dealing with IT staff and external vendors on technical issues.
  • Experience in the development of project and testing related documentation eg project plans, timetables, test plans, test registers, specifications, user guides.
  • Thorough knowledge of test automation frameworks, particularly in large and complex workflow solutions.
  • Experience in developing and implementing test strategies, plans, approaches and testing processes for UAT and end-to-end testing, with a focus on functional testing.
  • Excellent coordination and time management capability

Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in Information Technology or a Business Discipline are essential.
