    Technology is an inherent part of enabling the Reserve Bank of Australia’s policy and operational objectives. With the country depending upon our systems being secure, highly resilient and efficient, you will work within the Bank’s Information Technology (IT) department, and experience the capability-building opportunity to work with Australia’s most critical core banking and payments platforms.

    Your team

    Within the Information Technology (IT) department, you will be part of a collaborative team of Business Analysts actively working across a diverse portfolio of technology projects, to transform and develop the core IT functions that support the Reserve Bank's policy, operational and corporate objectives.

    Reporting to the Manager, Business Analysis Services, and working closely with other Senior Technical Business Analysts, this is an excellent opportunity for you to be part of a high performing team, working alongside experienced people who are passionate about delivering exceptional business analysis services.     Your background

    We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst with demonstrated business analysis experience within IT Infrastructure and application technology domains along with relevant certification.

    To be successful in this critical role you will:

    • Have knowledge and experience working on Infrastructure and Cloud projects
    • Plan and manage the Business Analysis approach to any project or BAU initiatives.
    • Design and implement strategies for gathering, reviewing and analysing data requirements.
    • Translate complex business, strategic and technical information concisely for diverse audiences.
    • Understand, document and communicate the objectives, drivers and business value proposition of a change.
    • Create representative and conceptual models, prototypes, mock-ups and business and technical specifications.
    • Perform solution evaluation during procurement, Proof of Concept, pilot and post implementation phases to ensure appropriate quality and fitness for purpose.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence and partner effectively with key stakeholders across the Reserve Bank and externally
    • Relevant degree qualifications
