Analyst - IT Planning & Performance Management

You will have strong data analytical skills with acute attention to detail, experience in advanced Excel, Power BI and insights visualisation skills. The IT Analyst in Strategy, Architecture and Governance function plays an integral role in supporting the planning and performance reporting coordinating inputs and decisions across the IT department stakeholders. The role will also:    

  • Deliver operational reporting, and associated analysis & insight development relating to the IT work (projects & BAU) portfolio
  • Facilitate regular governance committee meetings and support achievement of key target outcomes across key strategic focus areas
  • Proactively seek opportunities to streamline key processes across strategic planning, performance reporting and governance
  • Support embedding of new or improved processes for workload optimisation, data driven governance and investment planning and prioritisation
  • Develop and maintain effective knowledge management resources to support key services and processes

Skills and Experience

  • Relevant university degree.
  • Advanced Excel and VBA with developed pivot table experience.
  • Excellent critical thinking and data analytical skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Ability to use and automate through data analytical tools e.g. Power BI.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively while adhering to committed deadlines.
  • Developed understanding of the IT software development lifecycle and project management frameworks, documentation, standards and methodologies.
  • Experience in working in a portfolio/project office will be an advantage.
