As a Mid-level ETL Developer you will work on a critical EDW integration application for the bank. Ultimately this application will be helping the Bank’s economists to transform their data analytics practices to realise enormous value by building a solution that integrates with market leading data science and analytical tools.


You will be advanced in Data Warehouse architecture and design principles including good understanding of 'Data Vault' data modelling methodology as well as proven experience in ETL development. Being hands on, you will be involved in all aspects of the solution and be specialised in EDW, SSIS, MSBI, Data Vault and will have advanced development skills and experience working on large scale enterprise data integration applications.


Your team


Information Technology is part of the Corporate Services group. As part of the broader Information Technology division you will work in the Policy Systems team on a critical Enterprise integration application. This application has high visibility and will have a significant impact to the Reserve Bank and its operational and corporate objectives.


Your background


To be successful in this critical role you will possess;


  • Advanced in Data Warehouse architecture and design principles including good understanding of 'Data Vault' data modelling methodology
  • Proven experience in ETL development using SSIS and unit testing and data reconciliation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and TransactSQL using MS SQLServer.
  • Experience in Java, JEE or .Net languages is highly desirable.
  • Sound understanding of data and metadata management, including time-series data.
  • Proven experience implementing data acquisition through RESTful API calls.
