As a Mid-level Java Developer you will be hands on providing analysis, design, development/implementation and support of technology solutions to meet the business requirements for the Bank and to ensure that these are aligned with the Bank's enterprise architecture and standards


Your team

Information Technology is part of the Corporate Services group. As part of the broader Information Technology division you will work in the Policy Systems team on a critical Enterprise Data Analysis application. This application has high visibility and will have a significant impact to the Reserve Bank and its operational and corporate objectives.


Your background

To be successful in this critical role you will possess;

  • Full stack experience in J2EE Development including  Spring, Spring Boot, Rest API, JPA, Hibernate, SQL Server, HTML, JSP, Angular, Cucumber, JavaScript, CI/CD (Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins), Red Hat Linux OS.
  • Proven experience implementing data acquisition through RESTful API calls.
  • Advanced knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) and TransactSQL using MS SQLServer.
  • Sound understanding of data and metadata management, including time-series data.
  • Basic knowledge of SSIS based ETL and Data warehousing concepts would be beneficial.
