Do work that makes a difference 

Work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyse, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems relating to the Department’s banking systems. Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the business to achieve its goals while supporting compliance with related legislation, policies and standards.

Your team 

Banking Department provides a range of banking services to Australian Government departments and other government instrumentalities as well as a number of overseas central banks and official institutions.

As part of the team you will support changes covering the scoping, requirements, estimation, triage and build processes to deliver high levels of system stability, integrity and reliability. 

Your background 

To be successful in this critical role you will possess;

  • Experience with the Bank's government banking systems, business and operations.
  • An understanding of transactional banking, payments and settlements environments.
  • Experience with Waterfall and Agile development concepts.
  • Strongly prefer IIBA CBAP Certification or equivalent demonstrated experience.
