SharePoint Online and Power Apps Developer

 

As a SharePoint Online Developer, you will join the Corporate Services Group and be part of the existing Collaboration Platform team, where you will provide specialised technical expertise and best practice recommendations on SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Power Platforms, around application development, document management and information architecture.

 

You will have an Agile mindset and keen interest in software engineering across a range of technologies, while showcasing great communication skills and be a self-motivated team player. You will have experience in risk management and applying a risk mindset in day-to-day activities.

 

We anticipate that to excel in this role you will have:

  • Demonstrate experience with SharePoint Server 2016, Nintex Forms and Workflows, Microsoft 365,  SharePoint Online, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate
  • Demonstrate experience with PowerShell scripting, Graph API, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), customised development and Branding and design
  • Relevant experience with SharePoint Online and Power Platform governance, configuration options & capabilities.
  • Strong background in Information/Data Management governance and Integrating M365 with Records Management Systems
  • Good understanding of Microsoft 365 roadmap, and the ability to evaluate the applicability for business productivity solutions
  • Relevant experience with migration tools from SharePoint Server 2016 to SharePoint Online.
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD and Azure services.

 

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Ability to articulate technology benefit in terms of business functions
  • Ability to solve problems quickly, develop workflow and automate processes to deliver efficiencies
  • Ability to think strategically across multiple platforms
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders 
  • Knowledge of SharePoint, Power Platform and Microsoft 365 architecture and design standards.
  • Knowledge of web technologies and web development methodologies
  • Advanced knowledge of development practices across multiple platforms
  • Agile approach to service delivery
  • Understanding of network dependencies, implications & requirements needed to run SaaS.
  • Strong track record in working in a customer focused, dynamic, highly complex organization, responsible for operations and/or process execution
  • Understanding of Service Management including change, incident, and problem management as it applies to a large corporate environment and use of an ITSM tool.
