Senior Test Analyst-Dealing Room

  • Opportunity to work as Senior Test Analyst and collaborate with Business Leads. Drive the UAT working with Business SME’s from different areas of RBA.

This is a 14-month fixed term contract role, with possibility of extension and may include limited overseas travel funded by project.

Your background

Senior Test analyst with hands-on experience in device and infrastructure testing, UAT planning and QA process in all phases of testing. The ideal candidate should be a quick learner, understand the existing application and start giving positively to the project. This role will require engagement with various business SME’s and as well some senior team members thus you will need good communication and collaborations skills.

To be successful in this critical role you will:

  • Experience in preparing test plans and test summary reports for overall planning and test execution reporting.
  • Must have basic hardware networking skills of testing Switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Experience in preparing test cases from BRD requirements for technical testing such as telephones/ device testing along with infrastructure testing.
  • Experience is writing and driving User Acceptance Testing working with team members and leading Defect Triage sessions.
  • Proficiency with SQL knowledge is desirable.
  • Experienced on Test estimations with high level requirements.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be open to occasional travel as the role supports global instances.

Your team

Opportunity for an experienced senior test analyst to work on the Bank’s Dealing Room upgrade along with some business testers in the team. This upgrade will provide technology uplift for the users, will modernise the equipment available to users, and provide infrastructure improvements for the Bank whilst mitigating current operational risks. In particular, the project strives to modernise and improve the technology in all Dealing Rooms, thereby supporting flexible working and a consistent user experience across all locations

You will be part of a multi-functional team, with a solid focus on User Acceptance Testing co-ordination to support delivery of the program. The role requires taking an active part in all tests related activities including test planning and execution, providing testing support and maintaining and improving test outputs.
