ETL Test Automation Lead

More excellence, less vanilla

Opportunity for experienced Test Lead (ETL/Data warehouse) x2 with Test Automation background to work on a highly visible multi-year program involving consolidation of critical data sourced from external entities and internal sources onto an enterprise platform for sophisticated reporting and analytics.

These two positions are a maximum term contract role ending in December’2025 with one position required to  start immediately and the second to start in January'2023.

Your background

  • Test Lead with hands-on experience of running Testing and QA processes across data transition and consolidation projects with experience across all phases of testing in an Agile environment
  • Previous working experience in a large-scale IT project, preferably an ETL/Data-warehousing project.
  • Sophisticated knowledge and experience across ETL Testing (Data Stage, Tidal or any other ETL tools experience)
  • Crafting Agile Test strategies, reviewing Test Plans and Test Summary Reports, providing Test Estimation for upcoming releases and focussed on adoption of test automation frameworks for the ETL project.
  • Proven practical experience in BDD (Behavioural Driven Development) projects with experience in Gherkin language and good knowledge in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Delivery) concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge on data warehouse and business analytics/reporting projects are crucial.
  • Solid experience with REST API, SQL and IBM Data stage, IGC and related toolsets is essential too.
  • Web Based application testing and strong knowledge/understanding of API integration.
  • Takes active part in all tests related activities including test planning and execution, test automation, providing testing support and maintaining and improving test processes, tooling and outputs, whilst working in a scrum team.
  • Experience with Test strategies and Test Estimates with high level requirements.
