Oversee the direction and provision of information technology services to the Corporate Systems, while leading and developing individuals and teams to achieve goals and deliver outcomes. Utilise your strong leadership skills and understanding of the business needs to ensure the delivery of effective and efficient technology services across business as usual, application support and project functions.

Your background and key requirements of the role

  • Experience managing a team to deliver effective technology planning, service delivery and application support functions that meet the needs of Finance, Human Resources, Risk, and Audit and records management business functions. Ensure operational accountability in regard to people management, budget and processes.
  • Have worked with business partners to provide advice and develop strategic roadmaps for technology services that outlines target architecture and delivery plans. Directing a team to execute and deliver on that strategy.
  • Create a culture aligned with institutional values and enabling an environment that encourages continuous improvement and high levels of employee engagement and achievement.
  • Contribute to the broader strategic direction and leadership of the area, sharing accountability with other leaders for overall performance of deliverables and outcomes that meet current and future needs and the organisation's strategic goals.
  • Establish internal controls, standards and reporting to handle risks and deliver technology solutions that are consistent with agreed service levels and aligned to risk appetite.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with senior stakeholders within the department and across the organisation.
  • Operate a Business Relationship Management operating model in conjunction with other IT teams so that there are clear mechanisms in place to maintain an effective and proactive relationship with business areas, and linkages into other parts of IT that enable the detailed delivery of services.

The Corporate Services Group (CSG) is responsible for the effective provision of information technology, workplace (asset management, facilities management, building security, and procurement) and data management services to support the delivery of the Bank’s policy, operational and corporate objectives. In IT, you will be working with other senior leaders to shape and deliver innovative technology solutions that underpin the Banks core functions.
