You will provide high level administration support and practice management support for both the Audit and Legal teams. You will be amongst professionals who are passionate about the work that is conducted by the Bank for the Australian public. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, adaptable and has an excellent ability to prioritise workloads and manage deadlines.

Your background

  • Act as the point of contact for the Audit and Legal teams, analyse and action requests in order to prioritise urgent and often sensitive matters, and take decisive action to facilitate the optimal use of the time of the leaders and other members of those teams.
  • Extensive diary management.
  • Keep the Audit and Legal teams informed and up to date with respect to matters relevant to each Department.
  • Work for Audit Department management related to user access, budget reporting, co-source provider liaison, fortnightly Leadership Team meetings and monthly department-wide team meetings, organisation of Bank-wide professional memberships.
  • Administrative and practice management support including records management, maintenance of document templates and precedents, formatting, review and amendment of documents, conducting searches of public registers, assisting with preparation of papers for various Bank committees, note taking and following up actions.
  • Compiling, drafting & distributing communications, as appropriate.
  • Management of governance registers/records and other registers maintained by Legal Section. 

Your team

Within the Audit Department you will be working with a group of diverse professionals and supporting the management team. Within the Legal team you will be supporting six lawyers.
