An exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven enterprise platform Project Manager to join the digital transformation team at Australia’s central bank The program centres around modernisations to support human-centric, collaborative technologies with the Microsoft platform. This is a high impact project with enterprise-wide stakeholder engagement.
You will lead and deliver the modernisation of ways of working to internal customers through the efficient management of allocated projects, driving project activities and outcomes whilst aligning with organisational strategy.
This is a Sydney-based Fixed Term contract role until January 2025 with the opportunity to extend.
Your responsibilities include
- Leading one or more large sized transformation projects to deliver business benefits
- Project lifecycle management – direct planning, strategy, objectives, quality, success metrics and data driven reporting to secure successful delivery and identify opportunities for innovative efficiencies
- Stakeholder engagement ensure ongoing productive and effective enterprise-wide relationships
- Team management - motivate, coordinate, and inspire multi-layered team members – allocating responsibilities, ensuring delivery, tracking and continuous improvement
- You will play an influential role in helping our teams unlock their potential while supporting the adoption of agile principles and practices
- Ensuring project reporting and deliverables adhere to the Bank’s governance framework and regulatory obligations
About You
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, engineering or related field preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Project Management Methodologies and frameworks, Project Management Certification, PRINCE II or equivalent
- A seasoned and pragmatic project leader, you will have a proven track record of successfully leading large, end-to-end, high-profile IT transformation programs, delivering quality outcomes and business benefits under both an Agile and Waterfall frameworks
- You are exceptionally well organised and can manage competing priorities, risks, and dependencies within a changing landscape, without losing sight of the detail required to successfully deliver project and client requirements
- You are persistent, resilient, structured and proactively use your problem-solving capabilities to drive project success
- Experienced at reporting on and adhering to rigorous quality assurance process as well as contributing thought leadership to uplifting governance efficiencies
- Highly capable in building sophisticated and clear data driven executive and SteerCo reporting
- With a collegiate and collaborative leadership style, you will have advanced stakeholder management skills (conflict resolution, negotiation, and influence) and be highly adept at interfacing across multiple business functions, setting priorities and bringing others along on the journey.
- Demonstrable experience in effectively navigating large complex organisations
- Manage organisational change requirements in partnership with EPMO and OCM to ensure new capabilities are embedded and outcomes achieved

- Proven success in migration from older on-premise MS platform to cloud-based M365
