Systems Administrator

 Your background

  To be successful in this critical role you will be responsible for:

  • Ability to oversee or monitor the implementation of change management
  • Ability to configure, unit test, administer and maintain the software and related managed applications
  • Strong aptitude to analyse, recommend, design, implement and manage changes and updates to the software, including major upgrades, patches and minor version updates, customisations, and configurations
  • Maintain the currency of all technical components of the system portfolio including security patching
  • Demonstrated experience with management of all stakeholders, delivery partners and customers to ensure that high quality customer service is delivered
  • Providing technical support to users and resolves issues, supporting infrastructure and application
  • Ability to create processes, security measures, standards and best practices aimed at enhancing the availability,
  • security and performance of solutions across systems
  • Planning for system upgrades and implementation of new versions of software and applications

Qualifications & Other Skills

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Strong understanding of VPN technologies specifically around the products of Citrix and ZScaler
  • Strong understanding of Networking and infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of internet gateways specifically around the products of Cisco and Zscaler
  • Understanding of messaging and communication
  • Microsoft Exchange skills (highly desirable)
  • Understanding of mobile device management (MDM) technologies
  • Incident management

 

Your team

The Corporate Services Group is responsible for the effective provision of information technology, workplace (asset management, facilities management, building security, and procurement) and data management services to support the delivery of the Bank’s policy, operational and corporate objectives. Information Technology Department - responsible for transforming and developing the core IT functions that support the Reserve Bank's policy, operational and corporate objectives.
