IT Configuration Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and knowledgeable Configuration Analyst (CMDB) with ServiceNow expertise to manage and provide support to the configuration management process ensuring the currency and accuracy of information in Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

 

You will also:

 

  • Contribute to the ongoing development and governance of Asset and Configuration Management.
  • Develop, configure, and maintain tools (including automation) to identify, track, log and maintain accurate,
  • complete, and current information in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
  • Measure and monitor adherence to standards, controls and ensure consistent execution of the CMDB process and strategic initiatives
  • Deliver continual improvements in line with Information Technology principles.
  • Coordinate and operate within the IT Asset Management Framework.
  • Support the lifecycle processes for security, inventory, compliance, usage and disposal.

 

Your background

 To be successful in this critical role you will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience working with ServiceNow technologies and related peripheral technologies
  • Proven experience in managing CMDB
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining reports, visualisations, and dashboards
  • Demonstrated knowledge of automated discovery, dynamic service mapping across platforms, systems, and hybrid cloud
  • Sound experience working within a service orientated and risk adverse environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Flexible, ‘can-do’ attitude when it comes to possibility of working irregular hours and resolving problems

Your team

The Corporate Services Group is responsible for the effective provision of information technology, workplace (asset management, facilities management, building security, and procurement) and data management services to support the delivery of the Bank’s policy, operational and corporate objectives. Information Technology Department - responsible for transforming and developing the core IT functions that support the Reserve Bank's policy, operational and corporate objectives.
